Melihat Indonesia at Ciputra Artpreneur
Overview
This exhibition marks the official opening of Ciputra Museum, a visual art museum that mainly dedicated to the works of Hendra Gunawan. Other than Hendra Gunawan's works, this exhibition also present works from contemporary artists, from paintings to other mediums. The title: 'Melihat Indonesia' was inspired by the works of Hendra Gunawan and other Indonesian's painters in the era that was formed by picturing the condition of Indonesian people at that time.
With an addition of another private museum in Indonesia: Ciputra Museum, this is surely something we should be grateful for. Thus, "Melihat Indonesia" through its artworks in the museum, will result in an advance and critical reading towards various problems in Indonesia and the world, while enjoying the aesthetic experience of the works presented.
