Signing of MOU For The Strategic Agreement of The Silk Road International League

Jakarta, 25 November 2017 - The Silk Road is both the valuable wealth shared by countries along the Silk Road and an important resource for cultural and art development. To strengthen cultural and artistic co-operation among countries along the Silk Road, it is of great significance to promote all-round development of countries along this Road and at the same time enhancing regional peace and stability.

To further improve cultural and artistic exchanges and collaboration between countries along the Silk Road, CPAA Theatres, under the endorsement of the Ministry of Culture of China, establishes the Silk Road International League of Theatres (SRILT). Within this framework, through friendly consultations, based on the principles of mutual benefit and win-win alliance, the two countries agree to launch a comprehensive partnership.

This partnership will see more cultural exchanges between the two countries benefiting not only the arts world but also trade between the two countries. Representatives from the Chinese Government, Embassy of China in Indonesia and Ibu Rina Ciputra-Sastrawinata will be present.
